Have used Shayna a few times now for family, and maternity photos. She even did my moms wedding and I cannot rave enough of how great of a job she does. She’s always making sure you look your best, and feel comfortable during the entire session. She is also amazing with the kids, always making them smile and being patient as she knows how it is being a momma herself! Sometimes you think how could there possibly be any good pictures when your kids are misbehaving but she always gets the perfect shots!! :) highly recommended in my books!

  • How long are Maternity photography sessions?

    Maternity photoshoots are typically anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on what package is chosen that best meets your needs.

  • How many pictures should I expect for a Maternity shoot?

    Depending on your length of the session, the number of high quality images provided can range from 12 images to 40 images. Additional images are optional for an additional fee.

  • How much are Maternity photoshoots?

  • Do I have to pay a deposit for Maternity photography sessions?

    Yes, retainer deposits are required to reserve your booking. See my packages and pricing for the deposit amounts as it is different for each package.

  • What should I wear to a Maternity photo shoot?

    Wear neutral colors. Anything that are creams, browns, beige, pastels, and whites! Please message me for specific questions and I would be happy to help!

  • Do I need to know how to pose for a Maternity photoshoot?

    Nope! I will help you feel comfortable and natural as I guide and direct you for these special memories of carrying your new baby :)

  • Do you do provide a dress?

    Dresses can be available for an extra fee or I'd be happy to discuss any specific questions or guide you to find the right dress :)

  • What should I bring to a Maternity photography session?

    Bring yourself! I will help you feel natural and comfortable as I help guide and direct you. You can always message me if you have any specific questions.

  • What areas do you provide photography services for Maternity sessions?

    My sessions are done all over the Edmonton, Alberta area including Sherwood Park, Fort Saskatchewan, Leduc, Spruce Grove.  I also shoot outside of Edmonton including Calgary as well as various towns or possibly in your home. Of course anything outside of Edmonton may include a travel fee.


    Indoor sessions can be selected from one of the recommended studios I can share with you which can be ideal for Maternity Shoots for comfortability or certain times in the year when it's too cold :)
